Fr. Fessio Fired From Ave Maria, But Why?
On Wednesday, Fr. Fessio was asked to resign from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida. He refused and was fired. However, students and staff are still waiting for an explanation of the firing. Fr. Fessio was much loved by students, and by all accounts, students are quite puzzelled by the firing. One faculty member tells me that the details are not clear, but he may have overstepped his authority with the other school officials. If anyone knows more, please post.
